Kinloss Church

St John's Church A big “Thank You” to Kinloss Church and especially Tom Brown

We have enjoyed the delightful venue of Kinloss Church since 2012 when we moved there from St. John’s Church, our original home in 2004. Kinloss has served us very well; it is a great venue; warm, spacious and we have always enjoyed the best of relationships with the various caretakers, for the most part Tom Brown, who did so much to get this opened up as a fantastic community venue. We are only leaving now because

a) at times we are now finding it too small
b) with the Culbin Singers disbanding, their rehearsal space in Forres comes available on a Thursday evening and
c) as the “Forres” Big Choir it does feel appropriate for us to be back in Forres

So our new venue as from January 16th 2020 will be St. Leonard’s Church Hall. This is at the rear of the church itself which is the one right by the Town Hall. Access is via the pathway between the Town Hall and the Church.

There is plenty of parking nearby; a spacious car park immediately behind the church with access from North Road and Tulloch Park, on-street parking is often available in the evenings and there are other car parks on Leys Road and behind the Co-op. We look forward to this spacious, warm and accessible venue and hope that this new location will attract singers from the town.
